Wong Fei Hung 国士无双黄飞鸿 is an upcoming martial arts period drama starring Ryan Zheng 郑恺 and Bea Hayden 郭碧婷
It tells the story of the legendary folk hero Huang Fei Hung
who runs a medical clinic in Canton in the 1880s
Although he is only in the business of saving lives
circumstances force him to use his kungfu skills to defend his people
At the same time, his Thirteenth Aunt investigates her father's death
and her prime suspect is Huang Fei Hung himself

Ryan Zheng stars as the titular Huang Fei Hung
There is no record of formal martial arts training in his online bographies
so it will be interesting to see how he portrays the martial arts hero

Taiwanese-American beauty Bea Hayden stars as Mo Guilan aka Thirteenth Aunt
She was recently in The Starry Night, The Starry Sea 那片星空那片海 with Feng Shaofeng
The supporting cast includes the good-looking trio of Elaine Zhong, Hai Lu and Ray Lui
The drama will showcase many themes including mentorship, friendship and love
and will feature plenty of kungfu and comedy
It premieres soon on December 5th and runs 40 episodes
